Cynthia Hofmann is a Swiss travel photographer and journalist based between Cairo and Zurich who has made a career out of her wonder and urge to explore the various corners of our vast planet.

Cynthia’s sense of curiosity and urge to explore have been with her ever since childhood. Already as a little girl, she would put together entire travel plans to pitch to her parents for their next holiday destination. These early adventures instilled in her a profound appreciation for the natural world, its cultures, and its people. Since then, Cynthia has walked the Earth with a sense of wonder, always looking for magic in the mundane, and in awe of the interplay between cultural differences and the similarities we share as human beings. Thanks to this, her work evokes a feeling of peace, wanderlust, and a deep zest for life, with her aim today being to inspire a deeper connection with places when we travel and to bridge cultural gaps.
